Podpora včasné diagnostiky a neformální péče o lidi s demencí ve Středočeském kraji

V lednu 2022 byl zahájen projekt s názvem „Podpora včasné diagnostiky a neformální péče o lidi s demencí ve Středočeském kraji“ podpořený z Fondů EHP/Norska 2014–2021.
Cílem tohoto projektu je zvýšit obecné povědomí o demenci, o problémech, které tento syndrom přináší, i o možných přístupech k jejich řešení. Projekt se zaměřuje jak na širokou veřejnost, tak na rodinné pečující, kteří nesou hlavní tíhu náročné péče o nemocné. Osvětu veřejnosti podporuje nový, unikátní koncept zážitkového kurzu, pojatého jako mobilní úniková hra, a interaktivní výstava, která bude otevřena ve 12 městech Středočeského kraje. Velký důraz klademe na vzdělávání rodinných pečujících, pro které v rámci projektu pořádáme místní svépomocné skupiny a tematické workshopy; dále jim v podpůrných centrech zprostředkujeme edukaci prožitkem a obohacení znalostí zábavnou formou prostřednictvím interaktivní PC hry, včleněné do programu iSupport (který organizace Dementia v roce 2021 implementovala na podmínky ČR ve spolupráci se Světovou zdravotnickou organizací (WHO), Ústavem zdravotnických informací a statistiky ČR (ÚZIS) a Ministerstvem zdravotnictví (MZČR)). Veškeré tyto aktivity mají podstatný pozitivní dopad na včasnou diagnostiku demence, na snížení zátěže rodinných pečujících, i na kvalitnější péči, poskytovanou nemocným.

In January 2022, the project entitled “ The Support of the Timely Diagnostics and the Informal Care Provided to the People with Dementia Through the Central Bohemia Region” was launched and was supported by the EEA/Norway Funds 2014-2021.
This project is designed to boost the general awareness of dementia, of problems caused by this symptom and of the possible approaches to their solution. The project focuses on a wide public as well as the family caregivers, who bear the heaviest burden of the demanding caregiving provided to the people with dementia. The public awareness is being augmented by a unique concept of the experience course designed as a mobile escape room, and by the interactive exhibition that shall be on display in twelve towns through the Central Bohemia Region. We put the major emphasis on the education of the family caregivers: in order to support them we organize local self-help groups and thematic workshops, we offer various forms of the experience-education in our support centres, as well as the new way of extending their knowledge via the interactive PC game, integrated in the iSupport programme (in 2021 this programme has been implemented into the milieu of the Czech Republic by the Dementia institute in cooperation with the WHO, the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic and with the Ministry of Health). All these activities accomplish a substantial positive impact on the timely diagnostics of dementia, reduction of the family caregivers´ burden and on the higher quality of the care provided to the people with dementia.
